I needed the silence

the space

the solitude

the confirmations that i am a yogi, a meditator

ive been for years - unknowingly, i cultivated a daily lifestyle of stillness

"i admire that.. how you can feel the sun .. i need shrooms for it"

months ive pondered why shrooms didnt attract me the same

why they could sit untouched for months

now'

sitting in my comedown

in barbados

in bed of a woman i so deeply love, respect, admire - mirror

i understand

to remind you of what exists

the sun that beams from you

the warmth that glows

the mind so multifaceted, its a beautiful maze to dance within

I pray we grasp on to this together

this feeling - neutral in physical expression, in outward portrayal

we know

we are a healer

I am a healing woman

that is my being

that is my gift

honoring her is my freedom

my security

my future

my seeds for a growing, connected community garden

the new bloom

she cries out today

a new life formed
